I was serious when I said I like to come back to this one! Featured in a little article on decker https://erikhoudini.com/#post?id=4671882&title=three-decker-decks-for-a-slow-sun...
Oh wow thank you so much! The Houdini-sphere is such a magnetic bellwhether for dire, mystero-hilarious materials… So I am really charmed to see this get a mention there. Also fascinated by that “cold crack” term, if you or your friend ever write more on it, I’d love to see where it goes. Might just be a coincidence but it reminds me of the way Marshall McLuhan used the term “cold media” to describe media that required a lot of audience interpretation/participation to complete. Almost like picking at a scab, sure…
Dude! So cool you know about HOUDINI, deff looking forward to showcasing more of your stuff in the mag, huge fan! This cold media thing is sending me on a rabbit hole in the best way. This artist's work the same feeling of being 'cold crack' https://www.instagram.com/tealzap/
I found it through the Houdini mag decks you had been making, which I found extremely fresh and strange! Same with the website.
Teal Zap looks very intriguing -- thank you for the suggestion!
love this, keep coming back to it
Thank you, that’s very nice to hear. Let a thousand spores wriggle!
an excellent dictionary of textures, found somewhere in the depths of the digital experience, with astute field notes. valuable
Many thanks. I am glad they are of use to void-scholars such as yourself!
